BULK BILLING POLICY:
We Bulk Bill 7 days a week. Patients with a valid Medicare card will be bulk billed for their consultation.
For new patients we require a valid Medicare card and photo identification such as passport or drivers licence to be presented to our receptionist on arrival.
PRIVATE BILLING POLICY:
Private Billing applies to patients for Childhood Vaccinations, Ear Syringing and all Women’s Health Checks (Pap Smears) on Weekends or public holidays or during after hours i.e. after 7.00pm on Weekdays. Please see the list of fees below.
Fees are based on the length of the consult and the complexity and nature of the visit.

*Should any surgical procedure (eg Dressings/Suturing) be performed, there will be an additional cost for the use of the required disposable equipment ($30 - $50).
*Please enquire about the cost of these instruments at your consultation as appropriate to the services you require. To meet accreditation standards, disposable surgical equipment is used at Burwood Westfield Medical Centre. The doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received
*Travel vaccines will incur a private fee for the purchase of the vaccine as they are not covered by Medicare but the consultation is Bulk Billed
*Pre-employment medical assessments and driver medicals are privately billed.
